I ended up getting a last minute invite last Thursday to go and spend Thanksgiving with several lovely members of Albany Bloggers. The food was amazing, the company hysterical, and there were even kitties roaming around :) Next on the agenda: they have promised me an invite to their next Stitch and Bitch, and I plan on coming with a) my latest crocheting project and b) some saki. All hail the blogosphere!
The semester ends in two weeks and I am so ready for it to be done. I finished my last paper about five minutes ago (urban geography: a little conversation about tertiary economies anyone?), and now I just have four exams to begin studying for. Feeling emotionally, physically, mentally a little dry.
Okay, a lot dry.
Okay, as in husk-like, as in Katherine the Human Husk.
Do they make KY for the soul?
Ahhhhh, the coffee and the excessive mental stimulation and the fantasy and the adoration of the machine that kept me torqued to Mach 10 was all fine and dandy when I was mainlining it and loving it and chugging it and getting off on it, but now that I am dealing with the hangover and the flat and the down and the oh-my-poor-adrenals it is not quite so nice, is it Miss Thang?
Sigh. I would like to be less aware now, please. May I please just be plugged back into the matrix for just a few days? Oh, the blue pill . . .
